Privacy Policy

Context Margin has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. Your practice progress stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account, where we can't see it.

Your progress

Your answers, word progress, and settings are stored on your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, the app syncs them through your private iCloud database so they appear on your other devices. That data belongs to your Apple Account. We have no access to it, and Apple's privacy policy covers how iCloud stores it.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is sold and processed by Apple. We don't receive your name, email address, or payment details. The app only learns whether the unlock has been purchased with your Apple Account.

Problem reports

If you report a problem with a question, we receive the question's ID, the reason you picked, your note if you wrote one, and the app version. Reports are stored in our iCloud database with an anonymous identifier that Apple assigns, not your name or email. If you report by email instead, we receive your email address and use it only to reply. We use reports only to fix questions. Please don't put personal information in your note.

Reminders

Daily reminders are scheduled on your device. Nothing about them is sent to us.

Analytics

The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising code. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may share aggregated usage and crash data with us. You can turn this off in Settings under Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements.

Students and children

Context Margin is designed for high school students preparing for the SAT®. We don't collect personal information from anyone who uses the app, including children under 13.

Deleting your data

Reset progress in the app's Settings deletes your progress on every device signed in to the same iCloud account.
You can also delete the app's iCloud data in iOS Settings, under your name, then iCloud.
To delete a problem report you sent, email us with the question and the date.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
